Terms of service for this website.

These terms set out the rules for using lavabs.com (the “Website”). By using the Website you agree to them. They apply to the Website only: our IT services are provided under separate written agreements. Last updated: 3 November 2026.

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by LavaBS – Adam Kołakowski, Żużlowa 78, 94-126 Łódź, Poland (“LavaBS”, “we”). Contact about the Website: hello@lavabs.com, +48 (42) 6 200 340.

2. What the Website offers

The Website presents LavaBS and its services (cloud, Internet of Things, software development and security) and lets you read that information and get in touch with us. It is free of charge and needs no registration or account.

You contact us with your own email application or telephone, using the address and number published on the Website. The Website is provided as an electronic service within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

3. Technical requirements

You need a device with an internet connection and a current web browser. JavaScript is required for the service tabs and the animated graphic. You can pause the animation with the “Pause motion” control.

4. Rules of use

Please use the Website lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you must not:

  • disrupt the Website or the server it runs on, or try to bypass its security;
  • send us malicious software or content that is unlawful;
  • collect content from the Website in bulk by automated means in a way that burdens the service;
  • impersonate another person or organisation.

5. Information, not an offer

Information on the Website is general and provided for information only. It is not an offer within the meaning of Art. 66 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code and does not create a contract. We provide services only under a separate agreement or an offer that has been accepted.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete.

6. Intellectual property

The content of the Website, including texts, graphics, layout, code, the animated graphic and the LavaBS name and logo, is protected by law, in particular by the Polish Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights. It belongs to LavaBS or is used with the permission of its owners.

You may view the Website and print pages for your own non-commercial use. Copying, distributing or otherwise using the content requires our prior permission. Names and marks of other companies belong to their owners.

7. Availability and liability

The Website is provided as it is. We aim to keep it available, but we may change it or take it offline temporarily for maintenance, security or reasons beyond our control.

We are liable for damage under the rules set by law. We do not exclude or limit liability where mandatory law, including consumer protection law, does not allow it. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of the general information on the Website.

8. Links to other websites

The Website may link to external sites, for example the Polish data protection authority. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

10. Complaints

Send complaints about how the Website works to hello@lavabs.com. Describe the problem and give contact details for our reply. We will consider the complaint and reply within 14 days of receiving it.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are decided by the courts competent under the law. If you use the Website as a consumer, you keep the rights given to you by mandatory consumer protection law, including access to out-of-court dispute resolution and help from consumer ombudsmen and the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the law or the Website changes. Changes take effect when published on this page and apply to your use of the Website from then on. These terms are also available in Polish: Regulamin.
